Hi, Kim. Yes, I'm incredibly interested in writing. After years of teaching and going through the National Writing Project, I'm hoping to become a published author -- working on "the book."
What type of writing do you prefer? My favorite genre is humorous short story / memoir.

Dear Kim: I am glad you posted on the blog. I have been writing a monthly column in a European Jaguar Magazine for the past three years (www.e-typeclub.com). I get paid nothing but it is very good practice meeting deadlines, taking photographs and meeting some very interesting people. The eccentric owners I met over the years inspired me to write a murder mystery novel, The Jaguar Affair. I hope to have it self published in 2009 and it will be posted on Amazon.com and also sold through major bookstores. It will not be stocked in bookstores but if someone requests it, it will be on the computer. I have over 4,000 email addresses from the car work so I am hoping to create enough interest and sales to eventually have the bookstores stock my book or get a book deal with a better publisher. It may be the worst book ever but it is fun and fulfilling.
