Sherry Osborn Lord

Sherry Osborn Lord passed away on December 19, 2008. I spoke with Sherry last summer about the 40th reunion. She was not well enough to attend, but she was looking forward to receiving the class directory and catching up with her friends.

You can read Sherry's obituary in the Tulsa World at

Catching Up

Season greetings to everyone. My wife Cathy and I are in the process of moving from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Oxnard, California. We hope to get our house sold in Canada in the spring but in the meantime we have been traveling back and forth about 50/50. I retired after 23 years from a technical sales job in December, 2007 so I have had my first year of relaxation. It's working for me! We are trying to get lots of exercise like bicycling, kayaking, walking and golf in our new home in California. I have a vintage Triumph motorcycle and a vintage Jaguar so that fills in the activities. Vintage vehicles are the safest as they don't even start about half the time.

I enjoyed living in Canada the last ten years of my working life but I just can't take the winters any more. We are back for Christmas and the snow is over a foot deep and the temperature has not been above zero. I hope others will continue to blog because it is great to hear from everyone and see how things are going. Best regards, Paul McNabb

Season's Greetings!

Hi Everyone! Hope this finds all of you well and enjoying the holiday season. Bonnie, thank you for keeping all of us connected; what would we do without you? Tony and I are doing well; we are busier now than we ever were when the girls were at home! He continues to work with his folks on the ranch, and I remain busy at Crosstown. We have a new son-in-law and two new grandchildren after Maggie married in October, so our family is growing quickly!
Again, I send best regards to all for a wonderful holdiay season. Bonnie, don't give up on us!

Sometimes it hard to believe that 41 years have past!

When I look back to my high school days --how did 41 years go by so fast and so many wonderful memories are still there? I seem to run into Johnny Ratchford when going to the quick trip or taco mayo, when downtown -- I have lost contact with Linda Smith--may be in Florida--if someone has seen her in town -let me know. Life has many ups and downs but we seem to pull through and appreciate life much more. Hope everyone is enjoying our next segment of aging (life).

Pam

Thank you Bonnie

Thanks Bonnie for putting this together. Hopefully we can get more of the gang to sign on. Your "tech skills" are impressive.

We're getting ready for the big holiday. My step-son is in the Marines and returning from Japan for the holidays. Step-daughter will also be home. She is attending MIZZOU.... yes they got killed by OU last weekend. My two kids (adults) are working in our family business TPi Billing Solutions here in Tulsa. Know anyone who needs large volume printing work??

In my spare time, I'm working on a couple of old cars (not old to us of course). I've nearly finished restoring a 76 Corvette and am getting started on a 70 GTO. I’m always looking for parts contacts or other enthusiasts to trade lies with.

Everyone have a great and joyful Christmas!

New Here

So nice to see that we have a place to kind of keep in touch with one another. I am new to this, so should be exciting. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

MaryAnn Blue and David Coffman

Just back from a wonderful visit with MaryAnn Blue and David Coffman at their home in San Antonio. What a treat to see them both again! Good laughs, stories galore and food to die for.

Thank you MaryAnn and David!

WELCOME!

I've set up this blog in hopes of providing a venue where Hale 67 classmates can exchange greetings, information, and opinions. I've never done this before, so please be patient. How this works (I think):

Anyone may post a COMMENT in response to someone else's POST (message).

To POST your own message, you must be listed as an "author." To be listed as an author, let the site manager know you want to participate. I need your name and e-mail address. E-mail me at hale67@cox.net.

The hale67.com web site is nearing completion. I am hoping class members will send in background information on themselves, so we can have a section on the web site where visitors can catch up with long-l0st friends.
